Alumni Mentorship Programme

The NUS Graduate Students’ Society (GSS) is proud to have concluded the 2025 Alumni Mentorship Programme with a vibrant and heartfelt Closing Ceremony — a celebration of connection, inspiration, and growth. The event was officially opened by the President of the NUS-GSS 39th ExCo, Muhammet Furkan İlaslan, who reflected on the transformative role of mentorship in the graduate experience and the broader contributions of GSS to the NUS graduate community. This year, we were honored to welcome two distinguished Guests of Honor: Dr. Vinod Vasnani, an entrepreneur and developer of experiential modules at the Institute for Engineering Leadership, and Associate Professor Elmie Nekmat from Communications & New Media, NUS.

With the dedication of over 40 mentors and the active participation of 100 mentees, this mentorship journey was truly impactful. From inspiring talks and fun interactive games to a lively networking session over food and beverages, the event celebrated more than the end of a program — it marked the beginning of lifelong connections and continued growth for the NUS graduate community. This is not just a closing ceremony; it is the beginning of a new era for NUS graduates. To all our mentors, mentees, and supporters.

Thank you for being part of this enriching journey. Here’s to building futures together!
